In its 28th year, the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 honors the most innovative, fastest-growing public and private companies across North America. Deloitte said it created the awards program to recognize the passion and dedication it takes to be “an industry disruptor.”

“This year’s Technology Fast 500 list reflects some of today’s most determined and inspiring pioneers who have succeeded by anticipating what’s next, understanding what it takes to succeed, and driving creativity,” said Christie Simons , Partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP and industry leader in technology, media and telecom within Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance practice. “Representing all facets of technology, the winners have demonstrated that they not only have the vision, but can lead their businesses through rapid growth. We congratulate each winner on their impressive achievements.”

This year’s #1 company was California-based Vir Biotechnology with growth of 125,138%.
