Arvest Wealth Management appoints Donny Rogers as President of Investment Services

Arvest Bank subsidiary Arvest Wealth Management (AWM) announced Thursday (November 10) that Donny Rogers has been promoted from Fort Smith to President of Investment Services, effective January 1.

He will replace Calvin Jarrett, who is retiring early next year.

Headquartered in Lowell, AWM is the wealth management division owned by Arvest Bank of Fayetteville, which is owned by the Walton family.

AWM has approximately 360 employees advising clients across three businesses: Arvest Investments Inc. (registered FINRA and SEC broker/dealer), Arvest Trust and Arvest Insurance Co.

Rogers is President and CEO of Arvest Trust and Executive Director of Sales. He will keep the sales office in addition to his new role. Arvest Trust will announce his successor at a later date.

As President of Investment Services, Rogers will be responsible for overseeing the broker/dealer. According to a press release, there will be a special focus on customer experience and the needs of AWM consultants.

Rogers will also focus on developing strategic plans and fostering a sales and service culture.

“Donny’s breadth of experience spans banking, branch management, wealth management, sales management and more,” said Asa Cottrell, President and CEO of Arvest Wealth Management. “His leadership in these roles and as President and CEO of Arvest Trust has been strong and a key factor in our success. This is also one of the reasons why he is perfect for this job.

“Calvin has been a great employee for over 35 years and his contributions to our company are invaluable. He was also a great representative of our culture and we wish him well in his retirement.”

Rogers received his business and finance degree from Arkansas Tech University and received his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification in 1997.

Rogers serves on the board in various capacities for several groups including Lincoln Child Care Services, the Community Services Clearinghouse, Fort Smith Boys Shelter and Reynolds Cancer Support House.

“It humbles me to think about following Calvin’s lead and all the changes he’s gone through over the past 35 years,” Rogers said. “We will surely stand on his shoulders as we continue to serve our customers and employees. I am excited for the opportunity to serve our advisors, their clients and our respective communities as the next President of Arvest Wealth Management Investment Services.”
