The Berks Regional Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals is hosting a “National Philanthropy Day Breakfast, Awards and Conversation with Edgar Villanueva” from 7:30am at the DoubleTree Hotel in Reading. The annual breakfast honors individuals, organizations and businesses for their philanthropic contributions to Berks County. Immediately following the awards breakfast, AFP Berks will host a 9:45-10:45 call with Villanueva, Founder and Director of the Decolonizing Wealth Project and Liberated Capital. Berk’s LaunchBox presents “3D Printing for Beginners” from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. by appointment. Discuss the software and equipment used to 3D print a product, learn the terms and tips used in 3D printing. Berk’s LaunchBox is hosting “Sell Online with E-Commerce Tools” virtually via Zoom from 12-1pm – the fourth of six “Grow with Google” events presented by Invent Penn State LaunchBox and Innovation Network. Learn how to sell your products online. Topics to be discussed include the Products tab on the Google Business Profile; Google Merchant Center and the basics of creating a free account and product feed; and how to connect an e-commerce site to Merchant Center. The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance (GRCA) will host the 2022 Wells Fargo Economic Forecast Breakfast from 7:30am to 8:30am in the Santander Performing Arts Center, Third Floor Ballroom, 136 N. 6th St, Reading. Keynote speaker Jay H. Bryson, Ph.D., Managing Director and Chief Economist at Wells Fargo Corporate and Investment Bank, will present “The US Economic Outlook in Uncertain Times,” which covers how the US economy is heading towards peak inflation will react in 40 years in addition to geopolitical uncertainty.
