ANAHEIM, Calif. (November 11, 2022) – The Disneyland Resort holidays return November 11, 2022 through January 8, 2023, bringing a wealth of festive fun and cheerful decorations to Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, Downtown Disney District and Disneyland Resort hotels. During this magical time of year, friends and family can make happy memories along with treasured traditions and distinctive Disney experiences, such as: B. seasonal nightly extravaganzas, transformations of popular attractions, special food and beverages and more.

At Disney California Adventure Park

This year, the nocturnal spectacle returns “World of Color – Season of Light” envelops guests in holiday magic by combining cherished holiday music with unforgettable moments from beloved Disney animated films.

Through energetic live entertainment, culinary delights and special traditions, Disney Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure highlights a diverse season of celebrations including Christmas/Navidad, Diwali, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and Epiphany. Nine Festive Foods Marketplace kiosks throughout the park will serve a wide variety of delicious food and beverages, including Visions of Sugarplums, a recurring sweet and savory marketplace. Guests can choose to buy a Sip and enjoy the pass*, which can be shared or used across multiple visits during this year’s Disney Festival of Holidays to sample eight select food or non-alcoholic beverages from participating Festive Foods Marketplace kiosks and eateries.

As part of the festival, guests can enjoy live music performances at various locations in Disney California Adventure. New this year, Tina and The Sounds of Celebration! brings her powerful vocals and dynamic musicianship to perform holiday tunes with an uplifting repertoire of salsa, merengue, cumbia and rock latino. Other recurring acts include the Mariachi Divas, Mostly Kosher, Blue13 Dance Company, Phat Cat Swinger and The Mistletoes.

The cheerful range of holiday entertainment continues with “Mickey Happy Holidays” a procession of Disney and Pixar characters dancing and marching to the happy rhythms of the Holiday Toy Drummers. That “Disney ¡Viva Navidad!” The street party returns, too, with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in festive fiesta attire, Mexican folkloric dancers and mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers and percussionists, and giant mojiganga puppets. Guests can meet Disney characters in vacation attire and visit them at Paradise Gardens Park Mirabel from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Encanto.

Disney California Adventure shines with festive decor throughout, highlighted by a 50 foot tall Christmas tree on Buena Vista Street and automotive trim at Cars Land. The two of you put the Christmas spirit into high gear seasonal attraction transformations: Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree.

At Disneyland Park

Anna, Elsa and Olaf from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Frozen celebrate the season with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Santa Claus and many other friends Parade “A Christmas Fantasy”.. Disney characters also greet guests in their finest holiday attire, with some new vintage-inspired outfits!

In the evening the celebrations continue with the Spectacular “Believe… in Holiday Magic” fireworks display.what functions Magical “Snowfall” and colorful projections on Main Street, USA, and the facade of “it’s a small world”. Families can also dance together with characters at night holiday dance parties on the Tomorrowland terrace.

Two beloved Disneyland attractions return with fan-favorite seasonal transformations. Celebrates his 25thth Anniversary, “it’s a small world” holiday features puppets and toys representing children around the world enjoying the special holiday traditions of their respective countries. Unique to this year’s presentation is that each room in the attraction features a small number 25 detail. Over in New Orleans Square, Jack Skellington and his friends cause a collision between Christmas and Halloween that the Haunted Mansion turns into haunted mansion vacation.**

Disneyland’s festive decorations offer many beautiful locations for vacation photos. Guests are greeted by the icon 60 foot tall Christmas tree as they enter the park, and the Plaza Point Holiday Shop is decorated with garlands, nutcrackers and more. Sleeping Beauty’s winter castle enchants guests from day to night with shimmering icicles and twinkling lights. The Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort Guided Tour offers a hosted experience of select seasonal offerings and reserved viewing for the A Christmas Fantasy Parade.***

Holiday magic throughout Disneyland Resort

Straight from the North Pole, Santa Claus performs at various Disneyland Resort locations, including Critter Country at Disneyland, Redwood Creek Challenge Trail at Disney California Adventure, and Disneyland Resort hotels.

All three Disneyland Resort Hotels feature beautifully themed Christmas trees and performances by convivial Christmas carolers. The Disneyland Resort Culinary Team continues its annual Gingerbread House Show at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. To commemorate Diwali at Disneyland Hotel, The Coffee House offers an Indian Chai Archisha tea on the menu until January 8, 2023.

at Downtown Disney District, guests will discover dazzling decor and photo opportunities, festive musical entertainment, a festive craft station, and seasonal offerings from shops and restaurants. For the first time, the Disney Festival of Holidays fun extends to the Downtown Disney District with special Friends of the Festival menu items.
