ShaSha will offer exclusive memberships to the club through the purchase of Non Fungible Tokens (NFTs), allowing members to unlock increased access to the lounge, special events and unique content. A portion of all membership and lounge sales will be set aside to support future disaster relief efforts in the area.

“As we thought about our next concept in New Orleans, Larry and I had to make sure everything we created gave back to the city we love, which is one of the many reasons we’re so excited about ShaSha ‘ Compton said. “Rather than reacting every time a natural disaster strikes the region, we choose to be proactive and fundraise now so we can immediately disperse when needed.”

To support this effort, Compton and Miller have partnered with award-winning chefs Marc Forgione, Michelle Bernstein, Rodney Scott, Tiffani Faison and Stephanie Izard on ShaSha. Each chef will collaborate on new cocktails quarterly, participate in live and virtual events for members, develop exclusive content for the community, and individually program the club for a week each year.

“The ShaSha Lounge is a brilliant concept that aligns with Dolphin’s professional expertise and passion for charitable giving,” said Bill O’Dowd, CEO of Dolphin Entertainment. “Private memberships purchased on the blockchain, coupled with a portion of membership and lounge sales supporting future disaster relief efforts, is a forward-looking win-win for the entertainment industry and the culinary world. Nina and Larry and all the chefs involved deserve a lot of credit. And New Orleans is the perfect city to launch this new venture.”

In addition to serving the public community, ShaSha will also offer a select number of exclusive memberships that will be sold as NFTs, making them verifiable and transferrable to a blockchain to be determined. Ownership of these membership NFTs provides the holder with a variety of unique and one-of-a-kind experiences and opportunities, including access to private areas and events at ShaSha, virtual events with cooking partners, exclusive content, and nationwide dining perks.

“By creating a membership-based cocktail club, we are developing a new level of access and attraction in the industry,” said Miller. “By leveraging blockchain technology, we can build a community around our members, providing them with additional experiences and content while allowing them to sell or even rent their membership NFTs to others.”
