EA SPORTS™ announces record-breaking numbers after 23 days of FIFA 23

REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Today celebrates Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: EA). EA SPORTS™ FIFA 23 by capturing post-launch engagement up to 23 days after global launch. After celebrating a record-breaking launch of FIFA 23 with over 10.3 million players within week one, signaling the biggest launch period in the history of the EA SPORTS FIFA franchise, this year’s title rolled in today 200+ nations worldwide. It’s over too 1.7 billion Matches (including FUT Moments) played – across Men’s and Women’s Matchups – and more 4.3 billion scored goals. The players have overcounted 15.7 billion Total minutes played – the equivalent of almost 30,000 years of gameplay.

In career mode EA SPORTS FIFA 23 has seen Jude Bellingham be the top transfer target for players with over 630,000 Players choosing to choose Borussia Dortmund midfielder for their squad.

Players are also enjoying the new integration of their favorite mustache-wearing coach, Ted Lasso, with AFC Richmond having plenty of success and winning 1 million games to date.

Global cover star Sam Kerr Chelsea women was the most voted women’s soccer team in FIFA 23, with Manchester City to be the first choice for men’s clubs. Manchester City was also the most popular match to play against Paris St Germain.
