Kyler Murray’s Injury Update, Fantasy Outlook for Week 11

Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury told reporters Monday that Murray (hamstring) is staying on from day to day, but he reiterated that the team would like Murray to be able to run full on the field before his return. according to Beat author Darren Urban.

The key for Murray is whether he can train in any capacity on Wednesday or Thursday. If he can, there’s a chance we’ll see him against the 49ers on Monday night. Last week, the dual-threat QB didn’t practice on Wednesday but did limited practice on Thursday, raising hope he could play against the Rams. If Murray can’t go, Colt McCoy will be under again. While not a streaming option himself, his presence doesn’t do much harm to DeAndre Hopkins or Rondale Moore, which will remain solid fantasy options.

Injury update from Matthew Stafford, Fantasy outlook for week 11

TO UPDATE: Stafford remained on concussion record Monday.

Stafford (concussion) missed the match against the Cardinals last week after being placed on the league’s concussion protocol. He’ll likely erase the log and return this week, but nothing can be taken for granted when head injuries are at stake.

The last time we saw Stafford on the field, he was battling the Buccaneers in Week 9. The veteran quarterback completed a season-low 48.1 percent of his passes for 165 yards and a touchdown. It’s been a struggle for Stafford this season, who has been struggling with elbow problems. If he can pass the protocol and practice it will be an upgrade on a Rams offense that will be without Cooper Kupp (ankle). Stafford has a decent matchup against a Saints defense that has yielded the 16th most fantasy points per game to QBs (17) this season, but without Kupp he has an even lower cap and is best for those in two- QB left and Superflex leagues.
