It’s far too easy these days to throw yourself into your day-to-day duties and operate in your own bubble. Sometimes it’s important, even educational, to think about what’s happening in markets other than yours.

That is one of the goals of greenhouse grower GROW Executive Summit, which provides a 360-degree view of the controlled environment greenhouse market and the drivers of consumer behavior, legal and regulatory issues that will impact your business.

It all starts with Charlie Hall, Professor and Ellison Chair at Texas A&M University, taking a look at the economic climate and green industry outlook for 2023. Hall will delve deeply into the performance of the green industry and the economic factors such as supply chain challenges, rising input costs and inflation that have impacted them over the past year. He will predict what growers can expect in 2023 and provide actionable steps farms can take to best position themselves for business success in the new year.

Following Hall, an overview of two emerging markets is provided: cannabis and greenhouse vegetables. Robert Erwin, Director of Cultivation at Copperstate Farms, will provide a snapshot of the economic outlook, work-related challenges and other influences affecting the development of the cannabis market from the perspective of a longtime cannabis grower. Afterwards, Michelle Klieger, Founder of Stratagerm Consulting, will offer a fresh look at the economy, challenges and forces shaping the fresh produce market.

The GROW Executive Summit gives you the opportunity to learn from your peers. A group of greenhouse grower executives will share their insights in an open discussion about their key takeaways from the GROW Executive Summit and their own perspectives on what makes for a successful greenhouse business in 2023 and beyond. Moderated by Janeen Wright, Editor of greenhouse growerinclude panelists
