Good morning, New York Giants fans!
3 things to watch for the Giants in the second half | Great Blue View
Can the Giants finish what they started by making the playoffs? that the Giants will likely need to win at least four of them to reach what was initially thought to be an unlikely 10-win season to make the playoffs. Just because they’ve won six of the top eight, there’s no guarantee they’ll win four or more of the back nine.
BBV’s Ed Valentine explains that second-half schedule, sustainability and passing are the three factors that stand out for him when the Giants play the first weekend of the playoffs.

As the Giants look to determine Daniel Jones’ worth over the next nine weeks, there are at least four teams that could be interested if he becomes a free agent at the end of the year. – Carolina, Houston, Indianapolis and Washington could all be in the market for a quarterback next year. Another team that could be lurking – Tampa Bay.

The 10 Biggest Upsets of the NFL Season…And What Happens Next: Sando’s Pick Six | the athlete
Playing to your staff’s strengths can sometimes feel like the exception rather than the norm in the NFL. The Giants did this ably on offense, helped by Saquon Barkley’s return to dominant form. They have reduced their reliance on Daniel Jones’ passes, particularly in downfield, while emphasizing his running ability.
What’s next: Some regression in the profit column. The Giants still face the Eagles twice, plus the Vikings and Cowboys. They are 6-1 in one score games. While that reflects well on them, it’s not a sustainable win rate in tight games. No team since at least 2000 has gone through more one-score games in the first eight games of a season than the Giants. Only four others have won as many, including our next team on this list.
