Halliburton presents innovative technologies and sustainable solutions at ADIPEC

ABU DHABI–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Halliburton Company (NYSE: HAL) today announced new products highlighting innovative technologies and sustainable solutions as part of its presence at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC). In addition, Halliburton Chairman, President and CEO Jeff Miller will participate in the Strategic Panel on Tuesday, November 1 at 1:45 p.m.: “Aligning upstream oil and gas investments and the energy transition to meet growth in global energy demand.” Miller will discuss how the industry is addressing its commitment to decarbonization and the energy transition while ensuring the global economy has the fuel which it needs for further growth.

Together, the new technologies promote more precise and efficient drilling performance, remote automation for increased safety, and a reduced carbon footprint for cementing activities.

That Bright Star® Look-ahead resistance service, the latest addition to the Halliburton iStar™ drilling and logging platform, shows the way ahead of the bit to deliver superior drilling performance and consistent downhole delivery. In a compact collar design, the BrightStar service maps formation and fluid boundaries up to 100 feet (30 meters) ahead of the bit and detects formation changes with near bit resistance and anisotropy to increase confidence in geostops and accelerate proactive drilling decisions.

That FloConnect® The surface automation platform is a fully automated and scalable solution for efficient and safe surface well testing. An industry first, FloConnect controls, measures and analyzes surface well tests through automated workflows. It allows real-time data access, process monitoring and control from a command center or remote location. FloConnect reduces operational variability and optimizes staff deployment, improving staff safety and reducing the risk of dangerous and complex operations by getting staff out of the red zone.

That NeoCem™ E+ and EnviraCem™ Systems utilize synergies between the chemical and physical properties of specialty materials in combination with Portland cement. Halliburton’s innovative tailoring process developed these reduced Portland systems to offer high performance, compressive strength and ductility at a lower density than traditional systems for improved barrier reliability. Portland cement reduction helps customers lower their carbon emissions and provides engineered cement systems with improved cement coating performance.
