infiniDome has released its GPSdome 2 dual-band anti-jamming technology

CAESAREA, Israel–(BUSINESS WIRE)–infiniDomea leading provider of GPS protection technology, has unveiled the latest product in its anti-jamming solutions at the OUT Fair from October 10th to 12th. The GPSdome 2, a cost-effective and lightweight device, offers simultaneous dual-frequency protection from 3 attack directions for small and large applications.

InfiniDome has introduced the latest offering in its line of anti-jamming technologies, the GPSdome 2, a high-end solution tailored for the defense of small to medium-sized tactical UAVs, as well as manned and unmanned ground vehicles.

Given the notorious vulnerability of GNSS due to its weak signal from orbiting satellites, coupled with the wide availability of cheap jamming equipment and the rise in enemy jamming attacks worldwide from Ukraine and Russia to South and North Korea to the Middle East, there is a need for effective anti-jamming -Solutions have never been so clear. Disruptions in critical Positioning Navigation Timing (PNT) data mean munitions loitering that never find their targets, UAVs falling to the ground, and ground vehicles unmanageable (with dangerously compromised IFF – Identification, Friend or Foe). However, because many GPS protection devices are oversized and expensive, finding the right solution that makes both financial and operational sense is almost impossible.

InfiniDome’s new GPSdome 2 will break just that – protecting mission-critical assets in GPS-challenged environments in a more efficient and cost-effective way than ever before. With a small form factor (500g, 87 x 91 x 61.55mm) and minimal power consumption, it is very suitable for loitering munitions as well as drones and small medical UAVs, increases resilience, extends mission time and offers a superior ROI. The fully upgradeable and fully self-contained system is compatible with almost all commercial GNSS receivers on the market, as well as standard active GNSS antennas, meaning it can be integrated into existing GPS systems or into new manned or unmanned product lines, including LAVs and ATV’s.

Using sophisticated algorithms and a proprietary RFIC (chip), infiniDome’s GPSdome 2 analyzes the surrounding RF interference, combines multiple antenna patterns to create three nulls and dynamically steers in the direction of any hostile signal.

One of the unique features of the GPSdome 2 is how it offers simultaneous dual-frequency (GPS L1 + L2 or GPS L1 + GLONASS G1) protection by creating up to 3 zeros and protecting against 3 jamming directions in real time in each band (thereby it is ideal for PNT applications. In addition, the GPSdome 2 also provides the platform and its command and control capabilities, actionable real-time information and analysis of GPS attacks it detects in the field.
