Multiple Agilysys software systems on a single cloud-based platform will deliver operational efficiencies and superior guest experiences in what will soon be the largest resort entertainment complex in South Korea.
ALPHARETTA, GA & INCHEON, SOUTH KOREA – Agilysys, Inc.a global leader in hospitality software solutions, announced a significant expansion of its client portfolio in the Asia Pacific region: Mohegan INSPIRE Entertainment Resort, which when completed will be the largest hotel-retail-entertainment complex in South Korea. Agilysys will deliver multiple hospitality systems for the property, including its core property management (PMS) and point-of-sale (POS) systems. The deal marks important advances for Agilysys in the Asia-Pacific region, including its first casino property and large-scale PMS implementation in South Korea.
Expected to open in 2023 as a $5 billion entertainment resort with a total area of more than 500,000 square meters, Mohegan INSPIRE is located one hour outside of Seoul and within the IBC development area of Incheon International Airport, a major hub Northeast Asia. Upon completion, the complex will feature a three-tower luxury hotel with more than 1,300 five- and six-star guest rooms, more than 20,000 square meters of luxury retail space, more than 20 dining concepts, a 20,000-square-meter casino, and the largest entertainment arena in South Korea.
Hospitality-centric innovation and the ability to deliver diverse personalized guest experiences at scale were key considerations for the team evaluating systems across the property.
