Lisa Kelley was named VAR Real Estate Agent of the Year

Vermont Business Magazine Lisa Kelley, a realtor at Cummings and Company in Windham, was named 2022 Realtor of the Year (ROTY) by the Vermont Association of Realtors (VAR). VAR’s recognition of Broker of the Year is the association’s highest award and recognizes a broker member for their outstanding commitment to the brokerage industry, their clients and the community.

“Lisa embodies the spirit and values ​​that make our brokerage brand strong,” said Kathy Sweeten, Chief Executive Officer of VAR. “Her commitment to excellence has profoundly impacted her community and demonstrates the commitment real estate agents have to the highest level of service in their profession and in their communities.”

Kelley is currently President of the Crown Point Board of Realtors (CPBR), a role she has held for the past 3 years. She holds a C2EX certification, which validates members’ commitment to excellence in all aspects of their real estate careers. She also holds designations as an Accredited Buyers’ Representative and e-Pro, recognizing real estate agents for their proficient use of real estate technology.

Kelley served on the board of directors of the Vermont Association of Realtors. She has also served as treasurer, secretary and state director for CPBR. As President, Kelley increased local board engagement through innovative programs and communications.

Kelley also had a tremendous impact on her community. She was instrumental in coordinating the Belmont Summer Music Series, which offers free music on the green. She also started a summer calendar for Mount Holly residents that includes information about area services and a list of summer programs. Kelley also coordinates the supplier program for Cider Days, the largest annual fundraiser in Belmont, VT. As CPBR President, she participates in the Board’s community outreach programs, from supporting local grocery shelves to blood drives, fundraisers and more.
