On the course: Second place in Division II Madison District.

Outside of the course: “Cece” says, “My fondest memory of cross country was when both our boys and girls teams managed to show off my sophomore year. That will always be something I want to remember. I love hanging out with my friends and being outside as much as possible.” Favorite subject is psychology. Loves anything with the color purple. Loves listening to all kinds of music and going out to eat with her friends.

Junior >> Retreat

On the field: Carried 24 times for 239 yards and a touchdown and also caught a pass for 34 yards in the Beavers’ 44-27 win over South.

Off the Field: “J-Mack” says his fondest sporting memory is Riverside’s trip to Martinsburg, W.Va. earlier this season. “We visited the Pro Football Hall of Fame and trained on their field. Then we beat the best team in West Virginia.” Loves hanging out with friends, playing golf and lifting weights. His favorite subject is Mr. Ross’ Principles of Business. Favorite food is Mimi’s mashed potatoes. Favorite movie is Infinity War. His favorite player is “Our Stud #11 Ethan Ross!”

On the field: Had 10 tackles, two tackles for loss, a sack, an interception and a quarterback rush in the Cougars’ win over NDCL.

Off the Field: Chardon resident says, “One of my fondest memories is going to the state championships my sophomore year.” Also plays basketball. Likes hunting, fishing, weightlifting, hanging out with friends, and video games. Favorite subjects are science and lunch. Some of his favorite foods are steak, macaroni and cheese, burritos, and chicken. Enjoys watching The Sandlot, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and MindHunter. Favorite musicians are Zach Bryan, Tyler Childers, Morgan Wallen and Taylor Swift. Loves watching the Browns, Guardians, Cavaliers and Buckeyes.

On the field: Get off 91 percent on offense with 11 pancake blocks. Rated 89 percent on defense with four tackles for the loss.

Off the Field: The Highland Heights resident also rides “T-Gip” and “Ty.” Plans to play college football. “My fondest football memory is when we went to Harrison Central my junior year. The atmosphere and the whole campus was great and that made it even better that we just won the game. Outside of soccer, in my spare time I enjoy doing Warhammer and DND, along with building worlds and creating stories. I like listening to hard rock and metal.”

Senior >> Punter Kicker

On the field: Pinned two of his three punts inside the 10 and the other was a touchback. He was also 3-for-3 on PAT tries.

Off the Field: “JoJo” plans to play soccer in college. “My favorite sporting memory is the summer of my senior year when I joined a new team and made new friends that I will cherish forever. I enjoy playing golf, working out and spending time with my parents.” His favorite subject is math and his favorite food is steak.

Elijah Southern

Berkshire/Agape Christian>>Soccer


On the field: Rushed four times for 44 yards, caught two passes for 29 yards, had nine tackles, two tackles for loss and a sack in a CVC clinch win over Cardinal, the program’s first conference title since 2005.

Off the Field: Hiram Resident is in his second season playing soccer. “One of my fondest sporting memories is praying before games with some of my teammates. In my free time, I enjoy hunting and fishing.” Favorite foods are macaroni and cheese. Favorite movie is “Remember the Titans”.
