Disability Lawyer in Northampton James B Winston was recently appointed President of the Hampshire County Bar Association.

Established in 1878, the Hampshire County Bar Association has over 250 solicitors as members who provide many legal services to the public, including the Lawyer for the Day and Conciliation schemes, both in the Hampshire Probate & Family Court.

The Hampshire County Bar Association also provides services for the Domestic Relations Program for Children, the Hampshire Elder Legal Program and a Lawyers Referral Service program.

A native of Northampton, Winston is a graduate of Western New England University and Western New England University School of Law.

The Monson Savings Bank recently announced the grant Heath Arbor into the role of Assistant Vice President, Bank Security Act Fraud Officer and Compliance Manager.

Arbor from Monson has been with Monson Savings for 15 years and previously served as Bank Security Act Officer and Compliance Manager.

She is responsible for overseeing the bank’s banking secrecy and anti-money laundering programs, as well as ensuring compliance with banking regulations. She also leads the Retail Operations department and serves on the Bank’s Compliance, CRA & Fair Lending and IT Steering Committees.

Arbor is a graduate of Springfield Technical Community College, where she received top honors with her associate degree in business administration. She is currently enrolled at Bay Path University’s American Women’s College, where she is a honors student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in criminal justice. In 2021, Arbor graduated with honors from the New England School for Financial Studies.

As a volunteer and co-treasurer for the Monson and Palmer Salvation Army and as a parent volunteer for the Monson Parent Teacher Student Association.

Dakin Humane Society named Megan Talbert manager of his organization. The appointment comes after a nationwide search following the departure of former executive Carmine DiCenso.

Talbert was most recently Chief Development Officer at Way Finders, an organization dedicated to increasing the supply of affordable, quality housing to communities in western Massachusetts. During her five years there, she led the organization’s fundraising, communications and marketing efforts and oversaw the community education and engagement program in Springfield and Holyoke.

Before joining Way Finders, she was the Executive Director of Helping Hands: Monkey Helpers, a national service animal organization founded to help people with spinal cord injuries or other mobility impairments at home on a daily basis and is now focused on providing lifelong care for the animals retired.

As executive director of the Dakin Humane Society, Auburn-based Talbert will oversee all aspects of the organization’s work at its Springfield location. Dakin has more than 50 employees and nearly 400 volunteers caring for, treating and caring for more than 20,000 animals annually. Its programs serve animals and the people who care for them in a variety of ways, from providing medical care and spaying/neutering surgeries to providing pet food to families facing challenges.

A graduate of Boston University, Talbert has a bachelor’s degree in English. She volunteers with a number of non-profit organizations, including as a swim coach for the Special Olympics.

A graduate of Arizona State University, Kerman has over 30 years of sales and business development experience. He has extensive product knowledge across multiple home improvement segments and at Excel Dryer he will use this experience to grow and support the construction team’s annual profit by leveraging data in build platforms.

Park Square Realty recognized the company’s top producing agents for the third quarter of 2022 at its Westfield and West Springfield offices.

Barry Boccasile, director of growth and development and head of the Westfield office, said the top producers for the months were July, August and September Tori Denton, Julianne Krutka and Aimee Tompkins.

Ted Cassell, president and manager of the West Springfield office, announced that the agents who received the recognition were Erica Herbert, Tim Coughlen and Jim Pellegrino.

Park Square Realty is a local business with 52 agents and two locations.
