Warning to those who may be faint at heart. Be careful when shopping for groceries! The prices being charged at grocery stores and gas pumps make me decide that something can be sacrificed. Coffee is not my favorite, when I saw the current price I was shocked! Eggs were another shocker and butter shelves were empty. How can we believe that according to President Biden, “we will not have a recession, and if we do, it will be a small one.”

FB posting. Mrs. Nursing Center of Morton. “MS. Nursing Center and Bro. Tal had the pleasure of attending and honoring a wedding that took place here at our facility and oh it was truly a beautiful wedding! It’s never too late for love or too late to We thank the family for letting us be a part of their special day.”

A 26-year-old man opted for a cup of coffee. He put a cup of water in the microwave to heat it up (not sure how long he had the timer set). When the alarm went off, he took the mug out of the oven. He noticed that the water wasn’t even boiling, but suddenly the cup flew in his face. The cup remained intact until he threw it out of his hands, but the water had spilled onto his face from the pent-up energy. He has first and second degree burns to his face and possible vision loss in his left eye. A doctor who treated him explained: “It’s quite common, water should never be heated alone. If so, something should be placed in the cup to disperse the energy, like a wooden stirrer, tea bag, etc., nothing metallic.”

Tip for cleaning glass hobs and stainless steel sinks: Apply, spray or pour baking soda generously, add peroxide and rub in in circular motions with an old toothbrush. You may need to leave it on for a while and reapply peroxide. When the soda dries, pile it up and discard it. Use a damp cloth to clean it completely, and then use a dry cloth to polish. (This method was much easier and did a great cleaning job for me.)

When I was 18, I touched my toes 20 times every morning. These days I drink a cup of coffee and wave at them. Never laugh at someone’s situation because you never know if one day you will find yourself in the exact same situation.

The truth is that we all need encouragement and motivation. Everyone needs someone to cheer them on, someone to see the best in you. There are too many in this world putting others down. Make a positive impact on someone’s life!

My grandchildren are a window to my past, a mirror of today, a door to tomorrow, and keepers of my heart for all eternity. I wouldn’t change my grandkids for the world, but I wish I could change the world for my grandkids!

When Church Becomes Optional to You. . . it will become unnecessary for your children.

When people bring up your past, tell them that Jesus dropped the charges.

Have a blessed week!
