TORONTO, Nov. 14, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — ARHT Media Inc., the global leader in high-quality, low-latency hologram and digital content, announced today that it is Thailand’s largest cinema operator, MAJOR CINEPLEX, has the Purchased ARHT’s CAPSULE hologram display technology to revolutionize the cinema experience. MAJOR CINEPLEX is the first cinema operator in the world to acquire CAPSULE technology, with the announcement also marking the first sale of CAPSULE across the APAC region, building on the successful launch of the hologram display system across North America and Europe in 2022 builds up. The announcement follows ARHT Media’s recent reporting of record third quarter revenue of $2.02 million versus $1.05 million in Q3 2021, an increase of 92%, demonstrating the continued growth of the hologram technology sector.

CAPSULE is a fully interactive, plug-and-play 4K holographic display that allows the physical world to merge with the Metaverse like never before. The technology has garnered significant interest across the cinema sector following its launch at CinemaCon Las Vegas in April 2022, and the acquisition of CAPSULE will now enable MAJOR CINEPLEX to deliver unique audience experiences that capture the real world and metaverse in both cinema and connect at special events. Audiences will be able to meet and greet with real-time, life-size 3D holograms, allowing talent to be streamed live to the big screen from anywhere in the world. CAPSULE also features fully interactive capabilities, including a touchscreen and two-way cameras, offering immersive ways to gamify the lobby experience, giving cinema audiences a wealth of new ways to interact with content from advertisers and studios.
