The Pentagon is further delaying its final decision on a self-proclaimed “woke” diversity chief of its education wing under investigation after Fox News Digital uncovered derogatory posts about whites.
Kelisa Wing has served as the Justice, Diversity and Inclusion Director at Educational activity of the Ministry of Defense (DoDEA) since December 2021, where she is involved in influencing the curriculum and hiring of 160 military schools in the Americas, Europe and the Pacific. An investigation into Wing was launched Sept. 19 after she wrote on Twitter, among other things, that she was “tired of these white folxes.”
The Pentagon originally told Fox News Digital that 30 days after the initial review, the matter would be referred to Undersecretary for Personnel and Preparedness Gil Cisneros for a final decision. But after almost two months, the case remains unsolved.
“Findings will be presented to the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness,” Cmdr. Nicole Schwegman, a DoD spokeswoman, told Fox News on Friday. “Our focus remains on ensuring that military-affiliated students, their families and our staff have equal access to opportunities and resources that support student achievement and college and career readiness. We have nothing further to share at this time.”

On another occasion, Wing responded to a user who said, “I’m exhausted by 99% of white males in college and 95% of white females.
Wing replied, “If another Karen tells me about her feelings…I might lose it…”

Wing also tweeted: “[T]His wife actually had the SHORTNESS to say that black people can be racist too… I had to call off the session and give the BUSINESS to Karen… [W]We are not the majority, we have no power.”
“Audacity” is a term used to describe the boldness displayed by white people.
As a result of those tweets, 22 House Republicans — including some members of the Armed Services Committee — called on Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin to take “immediate action” to investigate her for “egregious bias.”
In addition to the derogatory tweets, Wing co-authored “racial justice” children’s books that argued that whites must acknowledge their privilege and actually harmed blacks by being benefactors of undeserved benefits.
Fox News Digital also noted that Wing had promoted the anti-police book on two occasions “Between the World and Me” by Ta-Nehisi Coates while posing as an employee of the Pentagon’s education wing.
Coates wrote of the 9/11 responders in Between the World and Me: “They were not human to me. Black, white or whatever, they were threats to nature; they were the fire, the comet, the storm that could – without justification – shatter my body.”
representative Elise Stefanik, RN.Y.and Rep. C. Scott Franklin, R-Fla., wrote in the letter to Secretary Austin last week, “DoDEA’s mission is to provide a quality education to the children of American men and women in uniform, not these children to indoctrinate with the radical ideologies of those who seek to divide us by race or ethnicity, nor to promote sexually explicit material aimed at a child audience.

Lawmakers also criticized the delay in review results.
“More than 30 days have passed since the Ministry announced the review of Kelisa Wing. However, the Department has not made any public announcement nor communicated with Congress … regarding the findings of the review,” the letter said.
