Wide World of Electronic Sports: Episode 155

Happy Monday and welcome back esports fanatics! Everyone’s favorite esports talk show The Wide World of Electronics Sports returns for its 155th episode. Join hosts Denny Von Doom and I with special guest TJ Denzer so we can join you on this amazing journey. The fun begins today at 6:30 p.m. ET (3:30 p.m. PT) on our Twitch channel at Twitch.tv/Shacknews. At the top of the hour we will discuss everything about League of Legends Worlds 2022. Our very own TJ Denzer was on the floor and captured all the action at that previous event. From Lil Nas X to the hard-to-ignore storylines between Faker and Deft, you won’t want to miss any of the discussions.

Shortly thereafter we break down what has been such a busy week in the Fighting Game Community. EVO Japan 2023 is here and scheduled to take place from 3/31/2023 to 4/2/2023 at Tokyo Big Sight in Japan. Along with the EVO Japan lineup announcement, Brawlhalla also had a busy weekend. With over $1 million in pooled championship prizes, a new Brawlhalla champion has been announced. Power is 10th in the world, Impala takes on Britain’s Godly in the Grand Finals.

To round out the program, we have our favorite bite-sized news, Sauce Talk. If you’ve ever watched an episode of WWES, you’ve seen Denny and I go back and forth over our various controversial food shots. Since today’s first topic is no exception, we’re going to discuss the top 10 places in the United States for sandwich lovers. We’re not going to spoil both Sauce Talk topics, so you’ll need to hang with us until the end of the program to get both.
