MILWAUKEE, Wis — The Wisconsin Veterans Chamber of Commerce today announced the three tracks from the breakout sessions for the annual Wisconsin Veterans Business Conference. The Wisconsin Veterans Business Conference brings together veteran entrepreneurs, business owners and resource partners to engage in dialogue on issues relevant to Wisconsin’s veteran business community.
The three tracks of the breakout sessions include:
- Veteran Small Business Academy: In collaboration with more than a dozen partner organizations and speakers, Veteran Small Business Academy’s breakout sessions provide essential information for new and existing veteran business owners. Panel discussions will include resource partners for experienced entrepreneurs and business owners, presentations on finance and access to capital, small business legal issues, and digital marketing strategies. This breakout session track is sponsored by the Old National Bank.
- Experienced Supplier and Contractor Academy: The Veteran Supplier & Contractor Academy provides experienced business owners with the information they need to participate in commercial and government contract and supplier programs. Bringing together experts from the public and private sectors, these sessions provide seasoned business owners with essential information about certification programs and growing their businesses through supplier and contractor programs. Sessions will focus on the impact and response to inflation and rising interest rates, government procurement opportunities for experienced business owners, procurement and procurement legal issues, and cybersecurity.
- Veteran Master Class Presentations: Seasoned entrepreneurs and business owners will share their expertise, experience and perspectives on leadership and development, attracting and retaining talent, the role of technology in business growth and more. This breakout session track is sponsored by Fiserv.
